Cultural connection is integral to health and wellbeing, as articulated through Te Whare Tapa Whā and other Māori models of health. Many whānau we engaged with, who felt a strong connection to their culture, spoke about how they drew on their cultural practices to help maintain their wellbeing, build resilience, and maintain positive relationships with the world around them.
